']]}Rockstar released five new screenshots for Grand Theft Auto V as a way of saying Happy Holidays Gift to fans. And as pretty as they may be, what's really impressive is the amount of info packed into each of them.
As you can see below, the underwater play in the waters around Los Santos will at some point include a submarine. There are more screens after the jump too, including one that stars a swimming shark and another which shows off some of the game's aircraft. If you look carefully, you'll see a blimp in the background.
First off, you'll see not only can you go scuba diving, but the waters of Los Santos are filled with sharks, most of whom we doubt will be friendly. Next you'll spot one of the three GTA V protagonists driving around with a dog riding shotgun, implying that pet ownership is getting added to the series. Following that you'll see even more deep sea possibilities opening up thanks to what appears to be a miniature submarine. Next up Rockstar Shows Off three different ways you can take to the air: fighter jet, commercial plane, and Zeppelin. And lastly, we get a new shot of all three protagonist in one place, perhaps lining up their next heist with whoever is on the other end of that phone call.
Unfortunately, Rockstar has yet to gift fans with a specific release date, but it's currently scheduled to ship some time in Spring 2013 for 360 and PS3.
